BAck in the 80's, while the other guys were learning how to play their instruments, Jack mostly spent his days playing with himself. He was however later introduced to the world of rock'n'roll when asked to play in the short lived project band Bat Guano. In fact Jack learned the lifestyle of rock'n'roll so well that he disappeared on a drinking binge which covered most of the 90's. Since he didn't learn how to play the guitar, he continued to play with himself. Sometime in 2001 Jack was found drunk in a dumpster singing 'riff raff, only doing it for a laugh'. The other guys felt sorry for him and decided to take him along as a band pet. Jack managed to escape a short time after by chewing of the chains around his neck, wrists and ankles. (This event would traumatize the poor creature and one noteable behaviour pattern of Jack's is his constant scanning for exists whenever indoors.) The band decided to continue without Jack and while on tour in the rural areas of Zweimal, Germany a local grocery store had recognized Jack's picture on a missing person ad printed on a milk bottle. Jack was brought back to the band and this time was given a guitar to play with...
